Buttons and I
My mission is to facilitate peak performance in the human and equine muscular systems. This does not mean that all my clients must be athletes. It means, they aspire to be at their own personal best for their abilities and desires. If we can improve our balance in structure, than we will feel better.
We can only perform at our own levels. And everyday presents us with another chance to be at our personal best, in work or play.
We all have the goal of longevity. The longer we can keep our bodies healthy and fit the better quality of life we will have.
If you experience an interruption in your exercise regimen and/or you are returning to fitness from an injury, massage can help.
If you have never exercised in your life, massage can help.
My number is 603-608-8192

Some of my favorite sites:
Welcome. My name is Doris Rollins. I am a rider and athlete. I am very passionate about health and fitness. When I am not working out, I like to spend time with family, friends, and horses. And of course, my Jack Russel, Buttons.
I have an Associates degree in Equine Management from TSAS UNH.
Before I enrolled TSAS UNH, Equine Management program, I volunteered for therapeutic horseback riding. This had a huge impact on me. The benefits I witnessed for the handicapped riders were amazing. Children who were told they would not walk, did.
I graduated and went to work for a local riding facility. I had many questions and learned many lessons. The biggest being to always listen to the horse.
I was inspired by:
~the ability of the body to heal
~ the dedication of humans to be their best
~the sensitivity of the horse in all of its power
~ and the awesome combination of horse and rider.
I saw horses and riders all around who were restricted in movement. This inspired me to get into the field of massage therapy. I am grateful for all the trainers I have worked with, and the lessons I took with me from those experiences.
I attended the North East Institute of Whole Health in Manchester, NH, where it is reinforced to "listen" to the client.
I then continued my massage studies with JoAnn Wilson of the Wilson Meagher Equine Massage School.
I am a student of the amazing human and equine bodies and systems. Pursuing higher education with Mark LaBounty, James Waslaski, and many other well known educators.
This site would not be posssible without the love and help from Barbara, Dave and of course Yahoo Tech support.
Thank you for visiting Jump Start! See you soon!
